Another good night sleeping at the docks until I heard the 4:55 am bridge whistle! That's okay, it's easy for me to go back to sleep...the whistle woke Rita at 2 am. She couldn't get back to sleep and laid there and read or played either Candy Crush or Solitaire until 5 am...of course listening to all the passenger trains going and coming from NYC.
As for today, not much is happening here again! Chuck did hose the boat down, filled our water tank, and had the holding tank pumped...free! We're resting up for our next few days of traveling since the weather looks good. Our plans for this evening are to eat dinner together with Rita and David. This will be our last get together before we go our separate ways. We're going to Simko's Restaurant/Brielle Bar and Grille for the early bird special...about 10 meals for $13.95. Along with the entree, you got a choice of soup or salad, dessert, and coffee or tea. Not bad!
Early to bed because we want to leave around 6 am tomorrow morning.....
