Since we’re all thinking of taking off for a few days this
weekend, we need to provision. Most of
the other islands have a limited supply in their small grocery stores so it’s
not good to run out of our favorite items while away from Marsh Harbour.
The produce should be plentiful today at Maxwell’s since we saw the
container ship arrive and dock yesterday.
And just as we thought, the
shelves were well stocked for the swarm of shoppers. On our way back to the marina, we pulled up
beside Whisper. I bought her a package
of Polish Kielbasa to replace a package that we borrowed from Rita on our last
trip. She then relayed the message about
happy hours on Circe II at 5:00 tonight.
Thursday night is normally the cruisers’ night but we found out, not
tonight. The Jib Room is hosting a
dinner for the Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club.
So, we decided to have our own get together because Rita had already
made chicken salad. Ilene volunteered to
make deviled eggs while I made fresh salsa.
It was my first go at it and turned out really good. Ilene invited Ginger and Sam from
sv/Grace. Once again we had a great time
with our new found friends!
